Dear Daughter:

 I am doing 2 things to kick start this diet of mine. I began working out today with Leslie Sansome's exercise video and I have an appointment to see a diet dr. What are you doing to kick-start your diet plan? I know you are changing your eating habits bc you told me so this past Sunday, but I would sure love to see a post from you here.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Dear Daughter: In order for this blog to actually do what it was intended to do (inspire and motivate you & me) WE MUST USE IT!! Why haven't you been here to post your progress? I can't fuss too much. I, too, have been lax in visiting our diet blog, but all that is about to change. First, I want a comittment that you will visit our blog and post at least twice weekly, and I will do the same. I know you are busy, but all I am asking is 20 minutes per week. That's not too much is it? So come on, let's get this diet show on the road!

No, Belle-Anna, we haven't started down the yellow brick road just yet. We have a few decisions to make before we begin. You are supposed to be thinking about the questions from my previous post and coming up with some ideas. So get with the program!

Mom, am I already on this journey? b/c I'm not eating right or exercising...........you gotta tell me things. LOL

In The Beginning. . .

Well, Belle-Anna, we have a few decisions to make: 1. Do we post our weight & measurements? This information will be public! I am trying to see if we can post the info but have it where only you and I can see. We can post pounds and inches lost and maybe at the end reveal the beginning stats. What do you think?
2. Should we make our posts like diary entries on daily events, like what we ate, did we exercise & for how long?, did we blow it?, tools used to deal with emotional eating and/or eating out of boredom?
There may be more areas we need to address. Get busy writing, girl.

Psyching Ourselves Up for The Challenge

We are both fairly new to blogging. Mistakes may be made in the beginning, but we do hope you enjoy sharing this journey with us. Look for daily posts from each of us on our daily activities. We will also include helpful tips we find along the way to share with you.
We will be combining an exercise workout with our efforts toward healthier eating. I believe in positive imagery and affirmations, and those will be shared as well.
